Museum-Estate of Lenin

The two-story house in which the Lenin family lived burned in the early 20th century. In the museum you will see the life of a noble family, get acquainted with the rich pedigree of the Blank family. The outbuilding consists of 5 rooms: in one of them the situation was reconstructed, in which Ilyich made reference, and in the other four there are documents reflecting the Siberian and Kazan-Kokushkin periods of Lenin's life. After the excursion, go down to the Ushne river - along the same path that the young Volodya Ulyanov ran.
Now Kokushkino is adorned with the new, not yet completed and yet functioning church of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God. And in the 19th century there was no church in the village, and Volodya Ulyanov had to get married in the village next door - in Cheremyshevo. It happened in 1863, and, what is most interesting, a brick two-table church (built as far back as 1741) still stands today. Moreover, today there are services. The grandfather Volodya Ulyanova and other relatives on her mother are buried in the cemetery.
