The facade was lined with light limestone tiles, the base was decorated with polished black granite.

The cathedral mosque was built as a high voluminous double-lighted structure covered with a multi-pitched roof with a 53-meter minaret on the north side, crowned with a gilded crescent with engraved sayings from the Koran and attached to a single- , the roof of which is a paved terrace. Colorful bright stained glass windows of vertical light passage from cast glass adorn the northern facade of the mosque.
