Nyrob is often called a "village on the edge of the earth", because to the north of it there are only zones for prisoners. The first written mention of the village of Nyrobka dates back to 1579, and it gained its popularity thanks to the fact that here in 1601, Tsar Boris Godunov was exiled by Mikhail Nikitich Romanov, the accuser of witchcraft, the uncle of the future tsar Mikhail Fedorovich, the first tsarist dynasty of the Romanov dynasty. @
