Actually, the Loma farm disappeared from the face of the earth more than 50 years ago, it can not be found on the map, no matter how hard you try. But in its place in 2003 appeared the natural landscape park, which has grown to an impressive size and which includes a variety of installations, structures and other attractions.
On a visit to Ivan and Mary
Lom's farm in Vorobyevsky district of the Voronezh region stopped its existence because of the Great Patriotic War: all 17 men went to the front in 1941, but did not return back. After the war, the settlement gradually emptied: some died, others settled in neighboring villages.
After a few decades the farm got a second life: thousands of limes, birches, chestnuts, acacias were planted on 100 hectares of land . Two banks of the pond were named Ivan and Marya, and on the pond put a floating hut, and later a stage for performances of folklore collectives . Festival "Song of Songs, Russ master"
Once in two years, the Loma village for a few days becomes the center of folk traditions and folklore and hosts several thousand guests - here is the festival "Song of Russia, Russ Crafts". Usually the event is held in the beginning or the middle of August, masters, craftsmen and folk groups from different regions of Russia, and sometimes from neighboring countries take part in it. The next, the 11th festival will be held in 2014.
How to get to Lomy
Loma's farm is located 240 km from Voronezh, in the Vorobyevsky district, almost on the border with the Volgograd region. To get to the farm from Voronezh, you can take the M4 route: turn to Buturlinovka, go to the district center Vorobyovka, from it another 27 km through the village of Muzhichye and the village of Vysokoe to the landscape park.
