Pushkin Memorial Pushkin Museum, part of the All-Russian Pushkin Museum, is located in Pushkin (formerly Tsarskoe Selo) in a one-story wooden building , in many respects preserved its original architectural appearance. In this house, built in 1827 by the architect Gornostaev and owned by the widow of the court valet AK Kitaeva, Pushkin rented eight rooms and lived from May to October 1831.

Here he was visited by Gogol and Zhukovsky, talked and argued for literary and political topics. Reconstructed by the recollections of contemporaries, the interiors of the rooms, as well as the materials presented in the museum exposition, tell about the life and work of the poet of this period.
