The Bergen funicular FlÄblanen is famous almost all over the world, although it is unclear why. Although no, it is understandable: Bergen is located on the hills, and even a simple walk through the city gives the tourist a useful but not always pleasant aerobic load. And the funicular allows the guests of the city not only to relieve themselves of the inconvenience, but also to get magnificent photos of Bergen from the top of the Floyen hill, from a height of 320 meters.
Floyen himself is mastered along and across, but very green and shady . At the foot of the park is broken, which as it rises up the hill . On the way the funicular makes several stops, and one can get off on any of them in order to walk a lot in green territory . At the very top there is a souvenir stand and a restaurant complex with a coffee shop and a terrace with excellent s view . In the summer season you can even ride a canoe on the lake .
The lower funicular station is literally a couple of steps from the fish market. In ten minutes you will come here from Bryggen.
